For our Naples fishing charter I run a 2007 Pathfinder XL powered by a 150 Yamaha four stroke. The Pathfinder is classified as a bay boat, which is a mix between a traditional flats boat and deep v center console. This hybrid will allow us to fish the plentiful near-shore for permit, cobia and tarpon, as well as the backcountry for snook, redfish, and trout. It is also very safe and comfortable, and allows for 360 degree fishability. It has plenty of dry storage to house equipment, and a large cooler for food and beverages. A 50-gallon custom live well with an 800 gph pump allows us to keep enough live bait to chum heavily if necessary and still have plenty of bait left to fish all day. In today’s hi-tech fishing scene, you need the latest electronics to keep you ahead of the pack - that’s why I chose a Lowrance chart plotter and fish finder. For music and up-to-date weather, I have a Sirius satellite radio. To keep your catch chilled I provide plenty of ice and have room for “the big one.”
